Constructive Men

This project developed in coordination with the Proactive Women’s project, since, according to experience, female participation has been limited due to deep-rooted sexist ideologies. Therefore, this initiative seeks to raise awareness among men about the importance of gender equality and positive masculinity both at home and in the community.

Through its implementation, this project contributes to preventing violence against women and to promoting more just familial and communal relationships based on respect and equal rights between men and women.

The Constructive Men’s program accomplishes these goals through workshops strengthening skills in different trades and trainings that bring awareness to gender equality. The ANADESA team supports men in becoming better workers, fathers, and community members.
